It's rough being a 50s SK, nobody loves you. Worked well generally, just need to know your fear/snare timers.

I recently played my bard in a group with 2 mages, a druid, a shaman, and a cleric, levels 45-55. One earth pet, one fire pet, and a shaman pet. They killed mobs so rapidly, I couldn't pull quickly enough. I said, "Guys, you killed everything," and pulled from farther and farther away. I usually strive to pull singles, but this time I got to practice pulling two or three mobs.

To this day the best experience group I've ever been in was a 59 druid (me) and 5 warriors ranging from 55-59. It was epic.

I once was in a kc hand/wl group with 5 monks and 1 cleric. All the monks used either a tstaff or addy club. It went very well.

Plenty of time on Live as a SK i would be in a pure dps group and just fear kite mobs, with BE boots and whatnot it was fairly efficient. Played around in seb with the pathing a lot and had a blast.

Yes, they all lose EXP at an even rate.

Me (enchanter) x5 monks, all with that brown robe that looks like the crylosilk one.. was mostly just funny to see 5 twins all in one spot.

All pet groups can do well depending.

I was in a trio with another chanter Lv 47, and a sham my Lv 49ish. I was Lv 51, also chanter.

With a hasted fog golem, hasted vapor golem and the shammy on heals/slows we completely owned the entire CoM moat plus the mobs in the building minus the reaver. Probably one of the best groups I've had so far. Alone I could hold left side of moat and some of the bridge but I had to med so couldn't hold it all, but the 3 of us ran through mobs like nothing.

Paladin + Mage x3 + Necromancer x2 in KC

I could essentially chain pull and pets would gobble up the mobs.

Also, Paladin x4 worked out very well in KC. That was when we could cast Deepwater helm heal in 6 seconds instead of 10 seconds. We would just melee and rotate stuns, effectively locking the target, then spam helm-heals while one pulled.

mage x3, necro, bard and cleric in HS East.. was much easier than i thought it would be, smoked drusella easily.

"Lose"

what you mean to say is they all level at near the same rate. No xp is created or destroyed, only distributed based on "total xp earned so far"

just last night in mistmoore group was Ranger, Cleric, Enchanter, Rogue, Rogue, Rogue..things died about as quick as they got to camp..was awesome..

Ranger only died once. Win.

Well, on live back in the day
6 Man Ranger group killsquad - AM3/EQ+Trueshot+PoP bows = ded critter

Obviously special purpose, not suitable for grinding ;)

6 lvl 25 paladins in MM would level the same as 6 27 druids. It wouldn't be that big of a deal at all.

Before manaburn was nerfed during Luclin, several wizards get together and would blow up Kunark dragons. Because manaburn was unresistable you could be at range and still hit a dragon. I imagone you could still do something similar with enough wizards with Porlo's Fury once velious comes out.

I was in an all caster XP group in DL outside KC pulling the various mobs wandering around outside. it worked pretty well actually, we'd pull in one mob and basically blow it up. Rinse and repeat.

Hrm...tons of times with all pets leveling up...especially with stupid things like the treants in SK but generally not a full a group there.

Lots of times where I was the sole CC class as a necromancer in Seb, Karnors, etc. The necro class died to me when they failed to upgrade Screaming Terror for a few expansions. Original intent be damned.

Plenty of AA farming in Fungus Grove with Bard, Paladin, Necro Ranger or something similar with no true healer just everyone chipping in. Mainly between sessions of pulling every single fungusbeast in the entire fucking zone and AEing them down, though.
