I started p99 a year ago, and at the beginning of October I started raiding with Rampage. Being new to the raid scene I didn't know what to expect, and with all of the spin on these forums much of my information wasn't accurate. What I've found out is the professionalism of Rampage players and the consistency of Rampage leadership to always make the right/honorable choice is at the core. Time after time, seeing our competition choose less honorable tactics makes me proud of the choice I made.

Going beyond the professionalism and determination to win, Rampage has awarded me with 24 raid loots in just three short months - 1/4 of them looted while I was still an app. This doesn't even include growth or hot armor farms!

There are a ton of classic issues regarding our raid mobs that have yet to be resolved.

Zlandicar's Stun is AE
Zlandicar doesn't cast Necro spells
Wuoshi/Zlandicar/Klandicar/Sontalak are likely using -150 MR check fear instead of 0 MR check making fear extremely hit or miss with Max Mr
Sontalak is procing his AE when it should instead either have a recast of 12 seconds or be a timed AE
VP AEs (Hosh, Nexona, Xygoz) are likely using -150 Resist checks when they should be using 0 resist checks. This extends to Zlexak, Hraashna, Ventani, and Tukaarak.
ST Dragons are using incorrect DI/DB values pushing their max hits 250+ higher in some cases

The server just doesn't have as many content devs as it used to and they've been swamped so getting to all of these things is tough.

Been a long, crazy ride on this server for me, from having never played EQ before to killing Vulak on first night. Joining Divinity, being in on the 12 man Sev kill (my first bard raid kill), FTE in the race between Div and BDA for Talendor (which yielded my Selo's Drums), Divinity finishing my bard epic while I was deployed, and sadly leaving Divinity to join IB and meeting some new people. I remember my first attempt to FTE Maestro via training to his room, and dying in a hot mess at the doorway to the music hall (I really thought Lilyanna was gonna axe my app for fucking that up). Eventually IB merging with A-Team (ya'll were kick ass, and still are) and forming Rampage. I will forever remember getting my VP key and experiencing VP w/ IB and Rampage. I will also never forget that first clear of ToV, cowering on the ledge with no visibility afraid to fall off and die. Having never played EQ before I am truly grateful to have spent my time amid the great, and wonderful players in Divinity / IB / Rampage. You all made this journey absolutely amazing, and I truly appreciate all the awesome fun times I've had. Our intentions were noble, that is, if we had any intentions to begin with. When this thing started, i didn't know what to think, didn't know how something like this could ever succeed. In the end, i can't say for sure that it didn't.

There was no goal, no overall meaning, no lesson to be taken from it. We just showed up and put our time in, then slept it off at the end of the day. Hell, i got as much from it as you did. We took the risks, jumped the hurdles, and look where it got us, look at the things we've accomplished. And yet..

Think of what we could've done, what could have become of us. A ragtag group of outcasts, not worthy of the normal life, not content to be silent in the face of what is right and wrong. We had our own brand of justice, and we delivered it, time and time again. So, who's to say we were the wrong ones ? Who's to say we aren't the victors ?

They already tell our stories, you know. Living legends in our own respect.

But what if ? What if there was more time ? What if we hadn't succumb to the new age ? What if we kept true to our path and fought for what we all knew was right ? I ask you gentlemen, what if we hadn't throw it all away, for the fame and infamy, the controversy and the ignominy. What of it ?

I think, if given the chance, we'd all do it over again. And no one can take from us what we rightfully earned. However temporary it was, we can always hold dear the memories of our struggle, and may we never forget that no matter how different we all were, here we are one in the same.
