I did everything I had to do to make this install work, did all the step, downloaded v36 extracted it... and I still get that spell file is outdated issu along with the sp1 error... i don't understand :(

hey i found that if i was using wireless internet i would get that same problem. i do not know why that would make a differece, but the second i switched to a faster speed cable connection that problem went away

Make sure you are installing a fresh copy of titanium. You should also make sure that you are running launch titanium.bat from the folder extracted project1999 files in the root eq directory, I.e. the one with eqgame.exe in it.

A spotty Internet connection can cause it, just keep trying it will connect right eventually. You also might want to check your anti-virus, some misidentify a file and can also cause the same problem.
