Magician classic spell research recipes

hi,

I used the link http://www.watson.org/~wander/eq/index2.html

to check research.

I got the Concordance of Research, put in Words of Dominion, Minor Summoning: Fire, Jade Shard and hit combine (to try for the level 20 fire pet spell).

But I got the "these do not combine to create anything new" message.

Am I doing something wrong - or am I using the recipe incorrectly etc

Please advise (never done research in EQ before!).

You need an elemental grimiore instead, check the vendors at your mage guild for it.

Old post I know... but FYI, all level 20 mage pet spells can be found in the OOT on a vendor. Can't remember her name but she is the high elf on the island next to the Sister Island. She is inside a tower. Hope that helps

Yea if you get off at the Sisters of Erolissi Island the vendor is on the island to the west with a cyclops that patrols and a tower in the middle.
