I am trying to get my faction up with freeport merchants / merchants in West Commons

They are mixed factions and I can't seem to find out where to start since I am threatening to most everything being a troll.

Merchants/Quest NPCS just tell me to beat it so where could I start to gain faction for example to use this merchant in WFP Krystin Charcoal

Any tips appreciated thanks in advance.

While I don't know about this one specifically, for a lot of factions the best way to fix them when you are KOS is to get a nearby druid to wolf form you. Many quest NPCs will happily accept turn-ins from wolves, even if those wolves would normally be KOS.

... then again, some NPCs attack wolves on sight, so YMMV :)

Also, shameless plug: I just started a Faction Guide (http://wiki.project1999.com/Faction_Guide) on the wiki. It doesn't have any Coalition of Trade Folk quests yet, but if you find a good quest for raising that faction feel free to add it to the page (or PM it or post it here if you don't like wiki editing) so future Trolls can benefit.

Nice; did you need to use the wolf trick (or any other trick), or was he already non-KOS?

Capt Rohand is a merchant hence already Dubiously and yea he will accept brandy if you can get in there.. But you will need invis to get their and be careful cause there is a Wizard GM that paths to the docks who while doesn't see invis but would love to kick your butt
