View Full Version : Having trouble recalling a zone from days of past
I recall back in the year 2000 fighting forest giants in some sort of fort and I believe there was merchants within the fort.
Can anyone tell me what area/zone is this? I think i might have been around level 35 but just a guess.

Frontier mountains or Warslik's wood, I would guess. Maybe Dreadlands.

There is also a giant fort in Burning Woods, but you would prolly be in the 40s to be there.

Frontier Mountains is the 30s Forest giant zone.
Warslik is 20s
Dreadlands is 40s (and it's in ice/snow area)
Thanks cant wait to check them out again

I don't think there's any merchants in those giant forts though.

Back in the day FM giant fort was the place to get public groups for low 30s before OT on Xegony.

Wasn't there a wiki page of places you could bind in certain non city zones? Damned if I can find it now.
One of the ruined buildings in DL was one of them I'm sure...might have been adjusted for 'not classic'* reasons maybe?
* Speaking of "not classic", why not enter a gif for the not classic gifaway (http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=189415)?

Idk about all of that. I just remember being able to bind in a hut in FM; unsure on the time frame of addition or if it was Kunark out of the box.

FM #6 on the map works... but it's not as safe as live. Mobs path through it.
