Man, I still have my old warrior! I got bored and did an account restore. Had to use my parents old ISP email to get my password reset.

Anyway, was fun to log him in but seeing current EQ is surreal. It makes no sense to me. And I'm sorry but I initially logged in with Luclin models. There is NO WAY IN HELL any sane person can think those models are better than these godlike originals.

Don't agree! The original models looks like blocky crap rendered using a Commodore 64, EXCEPT the helmets which somehow look much better than the Luclin ones.

I know, right? Some Primal weapons, Skyshrine gear, Dain 10 Ring, Cloak of Fire Storm, crown of deceit, kizrak's gauntlets of battle...

Then I used some 100 SC points that I had by default to buy a bracer off the EQ store... it beat my BP of Vindication hands down... by a lot...

Nope, totally free. The hard part will be figuring out your old account name. If you can remember your old email and still have access to it, it is a breeze. Was very easy for me. The only thing I had to do was lookup what server my old Innoruuk merged with. It happened to be merged with others into Erolisi Marr.

I was able to find some of my old account info, I think. Had a older version of live downloaded on Steam, but that didn't seem to wanna work. Downloading it directly from SOE. We'll see what happens.

I started live shortly after the release of Kunark. Old school models, old school UI (the super tiny screen one). Having experienced both models, I personally prefer the Luclin ones better myself. Doesn't make me right or wrong, just my personal pixel preference.

I'm convinced anybody who likes the Luclin models played a lot of those early wrestling games on the N64 with the terrible animations.

They're so out of place in EQ, it's like walking through a medieval town and then seeing a Walmart.

I wasn't the MT. Couldn't compete with the guy who's job was farming AA's all day. I think I got up to 85, while he always sat around 50 more than me. With that said, he got the one BoC we got as a guild, and it never dropped again before I quit.

The main hand was the "ghetto" aggro weapon from PoInnovation. http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=16391 other weapon was Primal Velium Warsword.

EDIT: And to clarify, I wasn't in some hardcore raiding guild. :p

I couldn't find his valorium boots and helmet, I guess I deleted them. I stopped playing this account in Kunark era (switched to my enchanter) and was surprised to see hes still around...
