I remember back in the day in EQ, you started the log, pointed a parser to it, and it was able to parse all your dmg and such. I felt it would be interesting to see my DPS kiting a butt-ton of stuff and wondered if any work inside P1999 :D

I looked and didnt see a threat such as this, and I'm at work and can't look for one.

So anyone have a good parser? (If one exists) :D

Search people have made a couple threads about this. Pretty sure only mellee deeps can be loged atm with 3rd party software for p99.

Doh. I remembered they couldn't parse DoTs early on, but then they added in the DoT dmg and you could.

I'll take a look around when I get home. If I find anything note-worthy, I'll link it here :D

Im going to let this slide and not flame you this time for 1 not searching first and 2 having no idea of search function, on any forum you MUST search before making a thread or people will rip you a new A-hole

Oh, I saw it the next time I searched, hehe.

Yalp is what I use and it rules. It can calculate real-time dps or you can upload a log file after a raid and it will give you every stat you could possibly want. It *may* be able to calculate dot damage as it shows up in your combat log, but I personally haven't tried.

This company has several nice tools beside the parser. I was completating making a small utility to let me know when my Pet's Burnout wore off since we're at the period of the game when buff "wore off" messages weren't avialable.

Low and Behold Gambosoft GamTextTriggers v1.0.0!

I can have it trigger a nice timer for 15 minutes on some pre defined text such as "{s} goes berserk." and an interface will pop up timer bar :) And, at the end of the period it can pop up a message to remind me to recast burnout.
