I have been looking at Eq Trader's "Old World Recipes" section, and I have not found a way to get my baking past 142.

In fact, I tried many recipes, but every time, an item needed in it (dairy spoon or filleting knife, to name two) were not in game.

Does anyone have advice on how to advance further than 142?

Thank you for your time

Dairy spoon and fileting knife should be craftable by a smith. check on their recipes.

Now that is weird, I did ask a smith to make them for me and he said the combine did not work. I will ask another one I guess.

Dairy is a triv at 74 fillet at 76, if the combines aren't working, might be time for a bug report. I dunno, I'm not good enough in smithing yet.

Dairy spoons were removed from the game as they aren't out yet(according to this period in live). I tried to make some while I was leveling smithing. I'm not sure about the fillet, but at least I can save you from wasting your time trying to find dairy spoons. lol.

Anything that uses cheese, plant shoots, or bamboo is post-Velious (a lot of those came with the opening of Stonebrunt and the later zone off of Surefall Glade. The only ones I truly know are old world and should still work for skilling up are Pixie Powder Cinnesticks, White Chocolate Muffins, White Chocolate Cookies, and Holy Cake (I think). Be prepared to kill mucho brownies and hit forage a lot in Lfay/Gfay.

You have a ways to go. Youre not really baking until 420.

Sadly you will have to wait till Veliousbefore you can get to 200 baking.
If you search there were a good number of threads about both this and breweing.

Don't quote me on this but I think you should be able to get to around 154:

Birthday cake:
Winter Chocolate, Frosting, Clump of Dough. cake round, spit/oven 2 >154

Wedding cake:
white chocolate, frosting, clump of dough cake round, spit/oven 2 >154

Once Velious is released you can make dragon steaks or pixie powder cinnesticks to get to 200.

Here is the last archived EQtraders page before Luclin was released:

I am having the same problem!! if u need muffin tins or any item I have someone who made mine. Send tell yo klang, darbar or soylant. Those are his Alts. Baking after 147 is very hard because they took knives and dairy spoons out. U will have to kill brownis. I have duoing to kill them in lesser Fay and three times my partner died to the brownie guards. They are much to hard for their level. They con dark blue and I'm level 50. Freaking alot of work for some cake!!

I was the Smith HateShadow hired.

and yes the dairy spoon and filleting knife recipes
did not combine in the forge.

its possible i had the wrong recipe, i used the recipes
on eqtraders, each piece it said to combine is in the game,
just wouldnt combine.

not sure what the deal is with that.

The filleting knives do/did work. I know for a fact as I used them.

Holy Cake is definitely not in. That's a celestial essence recipe.

I successfully made chocolate cookies tonight.

Is there a point to making food anymore? I thought they took out all the stat food.

Kunark does not introduce stat food either. Nor does it introduce any recipes that will increase the skill cap that (I'm aware of).

You will have to wait till Velious to hit 200 and stat food will not show up on this server as it was introduced in Luclin.

I make stat food and I've even made the dairy spoon recently. Although, I still can't make or find anyone who can make the filleting knife. Also, the point is that certain crafted foods last much longer than rations or foraged food.

Dairy spoons and filleting knives were not classic.

September 12:

Uthgaard: Gave the tradeskill database a complete overhaul: ~7000 recipes are gone, ~1000 are fixed, ~2000 stayed the same or were optimized for performance:

Food durations were implemented April 17th, 2001:

This is also when stat food was first implemented.

We're talking 2 years after launch.

BUMP:

I noticed a few days ago somebody selling stat food via auction channel in EC.
(Specifically he was selling beer braised meats).
I thought all stat food was removed from the game?

I, too, have seen stat food recently.
