Hi,
Just made a troll shaman and once i get to level 5, i'd like to go to CB to hunt, work on faction, and make money. Is it possible to get out of KOS for guards and vendors? If so, how many levels approx would it take?

I completely ruined my kelethin vendor faction by harvesting meats from... actually... it's not important. Anyway, the only way I found to fix it was to collect keys from the orc slavers in crushbone and free the elf slaves in the pits in the back of the zone.
Nothing else I did, no matter how many orcs I killed, would impact the vendor faction. Maybe there are other ways to increase faction with Kel city, but I don't know about them.

Not sure where you will start on the scale, but assuming you're at max scowling (-3000) you would need to kill 291 pawns/centurions to get to the apprehensive range with WE war/ranger guilds and dwarf warr guild. At 2ish % per kill it could take up to 6 levels to get there - that would be the worst case scenario. If you start off threatening (-750 and up) it might only take a couple of levels. Either way, you will still need to be careful what route you take through the cities, as many npcs will stay KoS no matter how many blue meanies you kill. (For example, there is a paladin guild npc that wanders near the npc for belt turn-ins in Kaladim, and he'll stab you good if you turn the corner at a bad time ).

Before you get your faction up, you will need a kind soul (or alt that you drop items from, camp out, switch toon, log in and pick up) to buy food for you as nowhere can you buy food/water. You can sell however at the druid ring in SF. As for banking, if you have invis pots (or once you get invis) you can bank in both Fel and Kel. For Fel you go into the bank and stand behind the wall where the guard/banker cannot see you and zoom out then interact. For Kel invis to the outside of the bank opposite the guard who is inside the bank by the window and again zoom out and interact.

Guards yes, my first character on P99 was a troll SK who spent a few whole evenings in wall groups in CB... turned warmly to Kelethin/Felwithe guards.
Imprtantly though, it's just guards... banking in Kelethin can be an issue if he sees you, and other factions (class guild trainers, bard quest NPCs, etc) will still want a piece of you... and correcting vendor faction is far too long a process to want to do. Best to get a good samaritan to buy/sell for you if you trust them :)

Should head to EC/Nro/Oasis area, and use tunnel buffs to makeup for lack of gear.
Faction isn't important. XP > All :)
Gfay orcs will hurt your Dark Elf faction for Neriak, and won't be able to kill enough to be non kos to Kelethin.
