They are playing in New Orleans on Wednesday, and sadly I can't make it. Has anyone else ever heard of this group or listen to them? With a nice system, the bass is soothing as fuck as well as the female lead. Been listening to them for a long time now, and their style has definitely progressed.
Is an interesting form of whatever they would call it, so if you like modern techno trance style, check them out!
Their older style is pretty intense lyrically, like Fireshrine (https://youtu.be/muL0Q6z0TWo)
As their newer sound is a bit more progressive
Bodyache (https://youtu.be/LbqcXnTt-7o)
Now don't get me wrong, I listen to all kinds of different music, but for some reason, these peeps are pretty legit.

I went to a Purity Ring show on shrooms and it was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life.
Obedear (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcWK_8kCJKY) is probably my favorite song by them. Especially if you have some good bass to enjoy it with.

Yeah, they're great. I kinda see them as the spiritual successors to Salem, or sort of like the next iteration of witch house with the notable exception being Corin Roddick puts side-chain compression on everything. I was sold immediately when I heard Fineshrine in 2012, but I'd also been closely following other groups out of the Edmonton, Alberta scene like Born Gold and Grimes. I guess if I were to recommend a couple others along with them I'd say check out Chvrches, and the up-and-coming Hana (https://soundcloud.com/hanamusic-1/clay).
I had Shrines as my album of the year for 2012. Haven't had the same love for Another Eternity. Although, it's certainly not a bad album.
Saw them with Blue Hawaii about 2 years ago. They might have gotten better, but Megan was very underwhelming live.

Glad you gents liked it, and I wasn't the only one in our krew to jam this style, I'm currently trying to figure out a way to make the show on Wednesday but I don't imagine it will happen. If you decide to go, hit me up on here, you can meet the paladin face to face.
