It's also the reason the Iraqi army is rolling over.. they are far from home in most cases so nothing greater than their own skin to lose in the near term, and no spelled out victory ( kill isis and take their land, money, guns and women for example )

ISIS has on the other hand has a clear Victory Objective, with a Caliphate reaching from half of Europe to India in the short term.. to Worl Domination in the long term.. and has offered the croots Pixel Packages of Power, Land, Money, Battlefield Loot, Houses, Women, Slaves... Just for fighting and winning...

And if they die, they go to heaven with 72 virgins and rivers of wine... so really, for someone who is frustrated, has no job, hates America.. and actually believes that by murdering innocents that they can actually go to heaven...it's kind of a no brained for them..
