I think it will be less popular. More places to XP means less bottlenecking in KC/Sebilis/etc... so people won't need to throw money at levels to hit 60.

I network with some tunnel fat cats over a delicious lunch sometimes and they are of the opinion that if you want a proxy spot in Chardok it'll be better to do it now than when Velious hits because of all the plat going back into the system and sparking inflation.

It is likely if Chardok AOE still exists at that point that prices are likely to go up relative to popular new Velious items. Nobody wants to take 2k for a pull if lodi shields cost 400k-500k etc.

The idea of losing my plat / items on death would turn an already frustrating at times experience into a devastating one.

No item loot on red, just coin loot.

Carry gems etc to pay for ports - if you die, you lose nothing except a bit of pride and the time it takes to get back to your corpse :)

I might try it some day, but I dont think id like everquest pvp. I didnt even try pvp in UO, only got in to it sometime in wow.

What bothers me is that this is the second day in a row when i've tried to use a brazier of elemental summoning and the server goes down shortly after. If people can get 100% gm rez coz they died as a result of the server breaking, why can't i be reimbursed this?

I completely agree. It's not your fault and on such rare use items or such things you should. IMO
