Not sure if this is the right forum for this.
I dont think gnome particles are working the way I recall them from classic. They seem very small on project1999 (especially shielding particles coming out of your hands).
I might be wrong but I dont remember spell particles being shrunk down at all for smaller races, but even if they were I am fairly sure they were larger than what is currently being used.
Been trying to find old videos of gnomes casting to confirm but havn't turned up anything yet. Does anyone have access to old videos that might be able to confirm?

You are correct. Unfortunately we cannot use the classic spell particles on P99 right now. We are using a heavily modified version of the new effects to appear as classic as possible within the technical limitations of the Titanium client.
To your point, the old particles were a one size fits all scale. The larger races had their particles spread out while the smaller races appeared thicker. This new system does a lot of things differently including resizing the particles and density to each race.

Ah! That makes sense. Thanks.
You guys did a great job with the modified particles, other than gnome casting nothing else seemed amiss to me.
While I have you, are any efforts being put into a new method to incorporate music back into the game? From what I understand there are sound card limitations and some people have managed to get around them but for the most part that's why p99 has no music.
