Reduce spawn timers for common xp leveling mobs. Helps solve for bard kiting issue and twink groups handling multiple camps with ease. Goblins in HHK was multiple camps on live, now it's one camp and are killed with ease and we twiddle our thumbs waiting for repop.

If you want a non-classic solution I'd suggest putting Rec levels on kunark weapons and lower their drop rate. In classic you'd be lucky to have a weapon better than 6/23 in HHK goblins let alone having an epic rogue.

That's too big of a change and a change many do not want. Who is going to say they don't want faster goblin spawns?

Whenever NPCs spawn, they should have have a mathematical equation that displays over their name that needs to be solved before you can engage the mob. Or maybe a phrase in a foreign language that needs to be translated correctly. Incorrect answer = banishment from zone.

I say remove all mobs below lvl 20 and make it so the only way you can get exp below that is by doing bard mail quests

Chords of Dissonance (Lv2) and Denon's Disruptive Discord (Lv18): PBAoE range reduced to 5 (from 30 and 35 respectively).

-Twinks-
Fungi Tunic: Fungal Regrowth (worn) requires level 45 to take effect.
Epics: Final turn in requires level 46 otherwise NPC will eat quest items.

I don't think there is a problem with bards. There are certain things we can and cannot do well. AoE kiting happens to be one of them. Stop trying to bring a brother down, there is enough of that IRL, don't break my immersion.

I dont know why rush in having to PL is not like the server is going anywhere, if you want to experience eq, you wont level from 1-60 in a week and you wont even know how to play that class. If you are just a non-life farmer RMTer, well then maybe, i guess thats the only reason people rush to level.

Red/blue/any other EQ server... enjoy the journey. Level 60 is where characters go to die, particularly on blue :(

I've always thought the "won't know how to play the class" argument is weak when saying people shouldn't get powerleveled.

There really isn't that much to each class. Especially if you understand basic game mechanics. How dispels work, how aggro works, how pacify works, etc.

If you don't know those things, the wiki has a game mechanics guide which is fairly accurate and you can read up and understand in 15-20 minutes.

A guy/gal who knows the workings of EQ can solo, group, and raid quite effectively on any class they are given the keys to within a few hours of looking at spells, discs, abilities and stacking of it all. Pulling and real CC (no Cycle NPC bullshit) take a bit more time to pick up than others. But all in all, EQ can be figured out really quick. It doesn't require you take 1000 hours of playtime leveling 1-60 to be effective at your class.

One of the best zones ever! Scale gear to pre-SoL levels and this would be an easily implemented "extra" after Velious has been around a while.
