It will probably get skewered by critics but I loved every second of the movie I thought it was fantastic.
I'm a huge Jurassic park nerd so I probably would of loved it no matter what but the ending had my grinning ear to ear while watching it.
Who else saw it? What did you think?

Taking daughter as soon as we get back from vacation
Haven't seen it but MAD CURIOUS about the trained velociraptors. I hope that part was not a disappointment.

Just got out of the theater, I went in expecting it to be 'meh' at best and ended up being blown away.
See this fucking movie!

Is it appropriate for a 8 year old? He likes the other Jurassic Parks and is a big Dino buff.

I'll probably see it over the next week or so.
My only concern going into it is having Starlord (Chris Pratt) as one of the main characters. He generally plays goofballs like Andy on 'Parks and Rec' and played a goofball in 'Guardians of the Galaxy' both of which are loaded with comedic value. Does he do well in a more serious role?

saw it last night in 3D, you must see in 3D, very entertaining!

LOOOOVVED it! I hope I dream about dinosaurs tonight. And Chris Pratt.
i saw it in imax 3d. i, too, went in with low hopes. After seeing the preview, I thought it would be a huge let down. I can honestly say I loved every second of it. I don't care what critics say. I loved Jurassic Park since the day I saw it in the theater to this day.
If you have ever watched any of the movies and enjoyed them, this should be a no brainer.
I loved all the references to the original movies. Truly made my day. I'll be going again to see it in non-imax. shit was crazy big

I saw the first one, liked it, think ive only caught bits and pieces of the others (arent there like 5 of them now?), the parts I saw of the others seemed "off" and didnt excite me like the first one did. Will I be lost without seeing them?

Its cool, I thought it was ironic that the movie is about everything the movie is.
Meaning, they are like, 'you made a giant adamantium dino because you focus tested and thats what the people want, bigger dinos?'
And the movie is about a bigger dino.
but w/e it was alright.

There were some super cheesy parts, but, it felt true to the spirit of the original and I enjoyed the hell out of it.

The heavily autistic younger brother was a bit annoying. That was my biggest gripe.

1/2 as good as the original and 10x better than the sequels. The last fight scene made up the price of admission. I thought it was great 'ride'; however, the story and character did lack in almost every category. I just wish there were some catchy 1-liners I could be using at work today. Oh well, my 4-year-old son loved it.

Saw it. Loved it. But I confess. I did fall asleep for about 10 minutes in the middle. Something something bad happened, something something someone dies <- no spoiler right?
Chris Pratt was quite good. He should be able to pull off a dramatic role in the future quite easily, I think.
The end fight was very iconic!
Would recommend.

Just saw it again,
The T-Rex from Jurassic World is the same one from Jurassic Park it was covered in scars from the raptor attack in the first movie.

I heard for 90% of the scenes that it was in they used the same animatronic robot from the original movie too.

I honestly don't see how anyone could not enjoy this movie. Only exception being very small children being scared, but I get that.
Those critics who said otherwise just have their heads too far up their own buttocks.

People say it's rose-tinted glasses and you just need to be open to new experiences, but I tried--really--hard to like the 2nd and 3rd one, but only partially succeeded on the 2nd. The 3rd one I couldn't tolerate.
A friend loved Jurassic World but somehow I don't think it'd work for me.

I think this movie would have been just as good in 2d as 3d.
I never saw number 2 or 3 but i feel like Jurassic World stuck to the spirit of the original.

It's the fuckin "amateur movie critic" types who don't like it. It's ironic really because they of all people should that a movie like Jurassic World, released in the beginner of summer, is gonna be a "summer blockbuster" action type movie.
Some people just cannot sit back and enjoy a good action movie for what it is.

I arrg'd a cam version and it wasn't too bad for free. Anyone who gave these -glaring plot holes- clowns cash deserve the movie you got.
