OPEN Planar Raid - Friday 19 June - 10am eastern US Time

On Friday, 19 June, Omni will be hosting an open planar raid at 10am US eastern time.

We invite everyone who would like to attend to come along.

The purpose of this raid is to provide an opportunity for those who don't belong to raiding guilds (or guilds who raid little) to experience the content and maybe get some loot.

While we'd prefer to go to Fear (we did Hate on the last open raid...see here):

We'll determine if we're going to Fear or Hate a few minutes before the raid. We'll make that decision based on which is unoccupied and repopped.

If you belong to an experienced raiding guild, you're welcome to come along, too, in support of the raid - but please bring your main and leave most of the loot for those who don't otherwise get to the planes much (if at all).

If we choose to go to Hate, Omni will cover the cost of the port stones.

Requirements:
Your 'toon must be at least L46 with a bubble or so of experience.

Loot distribution:
You may /random on any loot that you can use and is an upgrade for you.
Be mindful of others. If you've won an item already, please don't roll on further items until everyone of your class has won something.

Preparation:
Be at the WC spires at 9:40 or so eastern US time. We will be starting promptly at 10:00am. Providing transportation for latecomers can be difficult, so be prompt.
No special gear is required for this raid.

I really don't know what to say about the timing of the thing. We all play when we can. 10am Eastern US is when we can host an open raid. Nothing to do with limiting attendee numbers. It's just when we can show up with enough support to get stuff done in the right way.

We want to do these every so often, as we are able. Hopefully once every 5 to 6 weeks if we can. But we don't as of yet have a set schedule, we just randomly decide to do one :)

Last one was a ton of fun and great experience for people like myself who have no wish to raid full time. Very cool of OMNI to tkae the time to host raids/events like this, and I look fwrd to the next one this coming Friday!!

Thank you all SO VERY MUCH! I haven't had that kind of rush getting loot for a really long time; I'm VERY happy to have the Child's Tear in my inventory, and hopefully will have it turned into a Spear of Fate before the weekend is over.
