How about double xp for all hybrids. THAT would be great. Notice how I didn't say just for the weekend. I think this should lay for as long as fireworks are lit.... Which should be about the time velious comes out.

I also like the idea of a GM event or multiple ones and I think these should happen more often. I know the gms don't have much time and all that but even taking control of so mob and running around some zones RPing would be cool. Those types of things were actually one of the best parts of Eq For me.

How about multiple GM events at once in several different zones, so as to prevent one zone from getting completely swamped? After all, Battle of Bloody Kithicor wasn't just in Kithicor, there were mobs for all levels from EK, to Highpass, to Kithicor, to both Commonlands zones and even Nektulos.

I support this idea, because it wouldn't change how much hybrids make in groups.

Half xp wouldnt be so bad. I mean, if you see on average 20% more players than the >1000 players on average currently, then you'll probably end up splitting hairs and counting spawns/timers with everyone for the weekend.

With half xp tough you'd probably see at least 20% less players, it would probably be an awesome time to grab camps and at least keep a steady xp flow going due to more available spawns.

I like double xp, but this half xp idea may be onto something :p

I don't remember if this way part of the Classic era but I remember back in the day for the 4th of July holiday. Casters or everyone could buy fireworks for that day only and shoot them off. I remember watching all these roman candle fireballs being shot from the EC tunnel into the air...

Or maybe I just drank too much when I was playing and was too load and seeing stuff...
