Firiona Vie is Rogean's Barad-dûr

I went to the top of the statue of Firiona Vie and saw this named, invisible mob. I can only assume that this is the living embodiment of Rogean here on Norrath. Which means if we build a tower large enough we can host a raid on it and dethrone the God of this server!

Think of the pixels he will drop!

If you were wanting to raid it the "Immune to Magic" and "Immune to Melee" might make this one a bit of a challenge. Not to mention the warrior is LvL 99, but if anyone can do it AG's the one!

I'll watch from the sidelines though.

I googled Glisse out of curiosity after reading this thread and discovered to my surprise that there are other NPCs who started announcing about boats in March 2001.

There's also a Freeport Harbormaster or something...honestly, I don't really remember the boat shouts, although I waited for the boat all the time back then.

Its prolly an #emote ing quest NPC, kinda like when the bb boat comes in how's there's a zonewide white emote, I would guess this is the same just an easy way instead of attaching the quest to an actual mob.

Despite popular belief, I did google and that is what some people mentioned. I'm sure that it's tied to the mechanics that keep the boats going and for that reason Azure Guard will spare it...this time.

Never seen a mob take fall damage

on Live in 1999, I would agro the named Cyclops in east karana and go to the top of the ravine. wait for him to get to me, then use DA and jump off. He would follow me down and die from the fall damage.

This was some early stuff before they nerfed obvious exploits, but good memories.
