What is the servers feeling on corpsing AC rings so the list never advances?

Once you get a ring you have to give up the camp to someone else (if someone is in line). Sure you could trade off with a friend and hold the camp down, but that's classic.

Honestly I'm fine to pay the price if it means I don't have to camp something.

It's fine if no one is there waiting in line.

Is this an actual rule or opinion? Generally curious since it seems common practice for campers to sock as many rings on corpses as they can then MQ them.

It is a ruling by Sirken - originally meant to prevent corpsing Tranix crowns by a single Shaman but it applies to AC too.

Basically, if there is a line or list of people that are present and want the camp, you have to give them the camp after obtaining your item. If your there by yourself, go wild. This only applies to Lore items as far as I can tell.

If you didn't tell the next guy in line that the AC spawned and quietly corpsed a body away from the area though....

Just putting some people's mentality out there. Personally I've had mixed results with the oot AC, getting him once can be enough of a time investment and theres many more efficient ways to make plat... jboots MQ isnt the cash cow it used to be with the South Ro changes.

Put in 24 hour corpse rots and you'll see less of this.

Interesting, there's a player begging other toons to kill them in OOT as I type this. They have multiple corpses in zone.

Being killed in a duel or just dying in general and leaving a lore item on the corpse so you can loot another, rinse/repeat.

This is by AC ring camp. Not outing the name since I dont belive its necessary and anyone can find them if they want. Whatever reason this guy is doing this he dont need 8 of them if you ask me.

So that's where Dial-a-port has been dumping bodies lately.

Also corpsing can be used to pull characters out of zones via rez boxes when keys or zoning out are not feasible.

i.e. Veeshan's Peak or Sleeper's Tomb

ST keys are not soulbound, so if you die in there while carrying your key and rez is not available in zone you have a real chance at losing your corpse. This may not be an issue if the CSR staff continues the policy of summoning rotted corpses to EC.

Get out.

ST Key was stuck on your corpse until April 19, 2002, well beyond the scope of P99.
