troubles with v37

Hello all,

I have an error every time I get to character select screen --

I have clicked on v37 from the website.. I downloaded and saved.. then it pops up with the different folders, I select all of them and then click extract. then I click extract all to my titanium folder.

tried many times, and still doesn't work.. my dsetup is updated 8/1/15, ive tried moving it to trash and re-downloading. I am not sure what else to do, im assuming im so close to getting back into the game tho...

any suggestions would be soooo appreciated..

Hmm I thinky security is on with no exceptions.. Could that have an effect?

I've no idea what that means sorry Necro.
I literally unzipped the V37 zipfile into my P99 Folder, overwriting the conflicting existing files & it worked.

He's referring to the properties of the folder. You need to right click on your main everquest folder, goto the security tab and make sure your user account has all of the boxes checked like in the picture below.

Okay maybe I'm an idiot.. Can I get a quick walk thru of unzipping... I'm obviously screwing something very basic up

Maybe I'm unzipping to the wrong place? Is hat feasible?

right click the zip file extract all and then browse to your eq folder and send it there. if that doesn't work I'd prob recommend a fresh install of the game unfortunately.

FOR WINDOWS ONLY:

Do not Unzipp them into your p1999 folder .

1 unzip them to your desktop then copy the files from the unzipped folder into your p1999 folder.

2. you will get messages say these files already exist do you want to replace etc etc

3. Click copy and replace for each one that pops up.

Hopefully that will work is what worked for me.
