I don't think I have. I know quite a few people who have given it a try based off forum recruitment in threads like Derubael's (not to mention the JCing I've done for new starters that have needed to fill slots) but then I wouldn't expect someone who doesn't play there to see that.

Or it might be about farmers grown so rich and lazy they can't be bothered recharging/replacing stalking probes. Or maybe it's just conspicuous consumption, like casters driving up the price of Book of Scale because they want to strut around the EC tunnel wearing Miragul's Robe, who knows?

As a bard you ca use the singing steel helm. I mean, you have to equip the helm, and it takes 4 seconds longer to cast. However, when would that ever be a big deal for a bard using it.
