Freezing after character select

Ever since I updated to the latest patch I freeze 90 percent of the time after selecting a character and entering the game.

Just now, I have tried 8 times to load into the game and it freezes every time. I've restarted my mode and even the computer.

If, and when I get into the game, I will freeze when I zone or camp.

This has never happened until this latest patch. Has anyone else had this same issue?

I have the exact same problem with my halfling druid, but not with my iksar necro. Seems like it might be character related.

I seem to have found a workaround: at character selection, I simply click on my iksar and then my halfling before logging in. Can't explain why it works, but it does...

Doesn't work after all (the character select workaround)... probably just a random thing that seemed to work for a while, but not anymore.

But the part being character related is still true... happened again tonight, tried 5 times to log in on my druid, froze every time after a few seconds in the game. Logged in on my iksar, no problem. Logged back in on the druid, froze even before entering the game.
