It's your server bud. I have it set to false in my eqclient.ini, but they keep showing up. Think there's a few threads on it in the Technical Discussion section. Figured it was a known issue and not worth submitting a bug report over.

Yeah he is. All my Sarnaks are fabulous now. I replaced all the files Zaela suggested, but it didn't seem to fix it. Someone mentioned it might have something to do with transparencies, but I have no idea how to fix that. Just kinda showed up a few weeks back after a PC crash. Can't blame it on Velious or Windows 10 this time. I haven't seen any other issues (other than the weird Luclin elemental crap), but it makes me wonder if anything else is messed up?

did you goto optionseditor in eq folder and turn pet models off? i never did it through eqclient.ini
