Howdy, newbie here, few questions :)

Howdy buds, I started recently on this server. Really nice job on it.
I chose a troll warrior (lvl 8 as i'm writing) but I heard it wasn't the easiest class to level up because it's really gear dependent, anyway I have few questions.
First, I left the swamp to go to freeport, but the freeport militia is hostile to me, anyway I can make improve my reputation to them?
Second, What would you say would be a good path to level up as a troll warrior? I followed http://wiki.project1999.com/Players:Newbie#Level_6-12 until now.

The thing that bothers me is If I try to level in east commonlands, I can't reach the bank (can't enter in freeport), so I might try this guide instead => http://www.almarsguides.com/eq/leveling/progression/classic.cfm

Could you guys help me out and tell me what do you think about it?

Orcs give faction with some stuff in Freeport but I don't know about getting to bank there. I know I've seen a guide for getting in nice with other cities but all I can find is this page of faction quests:

My original main was a Troll warrior and, yes, it's a rough journey. You're dependent on gear and on groups. I would recommend heading back to your swamp and hitting up Guk. Guk is (IMO) the best, funnest dungeon in the game. There is some stuff in there, like the crocodiles near the heart spiders, that in a few levels you can reliably solo for a bit. And people group there plenty. Other options are South Ro and Oasis once you're 10ish.

If you like your warrior stick with him, yes warriors are gear dependant, but that dont mean you wont be able to level up. It would probobly not hurt to test a few other classes or read up on wiki some more before you decide.

You can bank in the dark elf city of Neriak as a troll, its in Nektolus forest and is next door to EC. EC is a great place to level because you can get buffs in the tunnel.

You can bind just insde FP zoneline and be safe away from guards if you want to be in EC.

Well I decided to stay in EC because I like the area, just binded in FP (safezone near wall)
Didn't know about dark elf city, gonna help me a lot aswell.
I think i'm good to go for now!
