Rain in SK

So I logged on this AM at about 7 AM PST in SK and it was raining...

It is now 11:00 AM PST and it's still raining...

Just seems a bit much to me. I am pruning up and I look like a drowned rat.

Is this normal? The rain I mean, not the pruning / rat effect...

I remember this happening in live back in the day.
I would sit there and after 5 or 6 hours of rain and say "really?'

It's the karanas. They're wet.

You do have to wonder why the Karanas aren't swampland yet. That's some amazing drainage we don't see .... well that or one day a giant sinkhole will appear and swallow all 4 zones. :D

Druid spell Wake of Karana will stop the rain. lvl 56 druid spell from Kunark

There was also a tinkered Meteorological Rocket (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=16643) that will stop the rain. I used to use them in Velious to kill the blinding snow in West Wastes. No idea when they put that in tho...
