I started playing EQ when it first came out. Rolled a Half Elf Pally on Karana. I was in the Grey Hawke guild. I just purchased Titanium on Ebay for $20.00. As soon as it arrives I'll be playing. Probably going to start with a Monk and a Shammy.

I'm trying to convince some of the old guildies to start again with me.

I joined this forum back in 2011. I just never had the time, but I do now.

Ah the memories. Can't wait!

Welcome back. I'm excited for you! It's no cake walk starting naked with nothing but starter gear, but it's worth it. Don't forget to press I and equip your wep, and use the project 1999 wiki to locate your tattered note turn in! I suggest you accustom yourself with playing with the wiki open. It is a great resource for quests, zone maps, levels, guides, and more. Safe hunting. Message me in game for some starter plat :)

They had it listed for 54.99. I offered 20.00 and they accepted. Here's the listing This item was given to my son for a birthday present. We did not feel the game would be a good one for him. Therefore, we are listing this brand new, unopened game.

A friend died lvl 1 vs a bat. He played EQ live so many years that he only remembered EQ like in 2010 :)
He stopped playing p1999 and said : I don't know how i could have played this game.

Don't stop after your first death. The fun will come fast :)

I made a thread with some questions, or tried to, but I have to wait for a mod to approve it before it will appear apparently. Almost 5 hours and counting now.

My first minute on the server I got owned by a Spiderling out in Nektulos.
I didn't remember them being so tough.

Consider bringing your group to the Red server. There is no penalty on death and the population size is favorable to some play styles. I understand why someone rolling solo would hesitate to roll on Red but with a group you will be able to do whatever content you want while leveling up and then enter the raid scene easier than on blue.

Just a thought so you have options. Exp is also faster on Red.
