I joined the server after casinos were banned, so I never saw them in action here, but I would definitely welcome the option to gamble PP or items with either other players and/or NPCs. I remember some of that on live

tbh, one of the best part about casinos was dealing with the person. I had a lot of fun chatting up the inventive casino operators who really brought a great level of vibrance to the tunnel. forever RIP

I voted yes on NPC gamblers. The goblins in eq2 did this and you could win prizes and cash. It was a lot of fun.

The wealth gap between a new player and the top 100 on this server is bigger than it ever was.

Too late on the "means and methods"...however the saving grace will be that people will generally be questing their own epics which will be a very positive change.

I agree not classic, but this would really help the over inflated economy, which at this point is not classic either.

I think this would be a net positive for the server, even if its only brought in temporarily here and there.

Any way to monitor how much plat it removes from the economy?

I remember back in the old days of EQ that players would play odds or evens in the tunnel for money.

One person was the dealer and the other was the player. The player would pick even or odds and they would random /10. If they picked even and rolled even, they would get paid or they would have to pay the dealer. I think if the player also rolled 0 than they also lost. A 2nd banker would hold both the banker and players money so there would be no cheating at getting paid.

Another game was doing the same thing but you would do a random /1000 and if you rolled over a selected high number of 500, 600 or 700, you would double your money.
