View Full Version : Bring out yer dead! (Complimentary rotted corpse recovery!)

Did you know that P99 Guides have the amazing ability to dig up rotted *corpses?? It's one of my favorite things to do. I am going for my Masters of Elf Science in corpse exhumation later this year at P99 University.

/petition in-game if you lost a corpse to flies, raccoons, armadillos, sunlight induced ossification, dying then having to go on a dumb expensive family vacation before you could CR, or any other natural sources of decomposition.

As a bonus offer for the remainder of September, if your corpse rot petition is not answered within 30 seconds, IT'S FREE!

*By policy, corpses that exist simply to store lore items/keys (think Plane of Sky) are not recoverable.

But can you dig up the corpse of a character who has been deleted from an account?

Those suckers are buried deep.

Uh, why the mention of 'FREE'
Is the alternative that you have to pay a guide to use guide only skills?

I really like Moregan. I'm not so sure I could maintain such a positive, chipper outlook when faced with having to deal with the playerbase at large.

Leave it up to the bergers of this community to try and turn something good into something bad.

If he had just said

"Friendly reminder, we don't let corpses rot away and all your hard work disappear if we can help it. Please remember to contact us if you were unable to salvage a corpse in time."

There's no need to mention 'payment.' That type of practice sounds suspicious after all the trouble we've had with past CSR.

He did say that the service was free if your petition wasn't answered in 30 seconds.

When has ANY petition been answered in 30 seconds or less?

At times the OP could be one Drunk Elf if he stayed in the EC Tunnel. :D Lots of dead people there.

When I wanted to change my surname I searched these forums and found out the procedure. Most people that responded in a positive light said Moregan was pretty good about it.

At the beginning of a long night of play I petitioned hoping I'd get a response sometime that night. Sure enough, it was Moregan that responded in less than an hour. I was surprised and appreciative!

In conclusion: Thanks for your contribution to this community Moregan!

Do petitions take longer on red? Been about 4-5 hours since I did it.

all corpses that rot go to a graveyard. Any Guide/gm can grab it, just don't expect former guide Moregan to be the one that assists you.

I've posted in the Petitions section of the forums, as well as in-game, but not sure what or where is the appropriate forum to go about requesting some help with a rotted corpse. I'll continue to check all possible avenues.

Thank you in advance for any help that may be able to be offered.
