Hail and well met citizens of Norrath!

I have only been back in Norrath for a little over 4 weeks and I am loving every minute of being back. Thank you to the P1999 management and staff for re-creating Norrath for those of us who loved the original classic EverQuest.

The forums and the wiki have been very useful. However, I think that it might be a good idea to have specific class forums so that newbies and veterans alike can post and discuss issues pertaining to the particular facets of our respective classes. There we could discuss gear, strategy, techniques, skills, spells, quests and more. I think it would be a great idea.

Would anyone else like to see this as well? Thanks in advance for your time and consideration on this matter.

*cheers*

Do you mean more specific than "tank/melee/casters/priests"? Like one for warriors, one for druids, etc? Because we do have class specific boards in the former sense. And within those boards, there are plenty of specifically warrior/bard/monk/etc topics as well as general "melee/tank/etc" ones.

It's a good idea, melee forums are kind of flooded with monk and bard posts mostly, would be cool to have more specific forums for each class without having to search for keywords, also would be fun to see how few substantial posts are in the ranger forums (other than "i'm thinking of rolling a ranger, is this a poor choice?")

Anyone ever have class specific forums in their guild? I swear they're ghost towns, I like it as it is ;)

Search button is available if you're after something specific.

I feel we do not have the traffic necessary to break those forums down even more. As it is swish posts make up 80% of the content on these forums already.

Shouldn't go to a class forum to feel like you have friends haha

Trolling aside, there is no good reason for not having specific class subforums, except that they just have other more important things to do.
