Enter button doesnt work in chat.

Hey all,

Im happy to be back after so many years.

Perhaps i dont remember how is wa for the chat back in the day, but why is my "enter" not working to send messages in chat. I can type "/say Hi (but then the enter doesn't work to send the message) and i cant find an out of place key binding for the chat commands.

You have to use /ooc in a zone, no all zones thing other than Red Server, or /g in Group or /gu in a guild to talk. Hope that helps.

You also also right click on the window frame and go to Channel menu to set default channel for your messages (say, ooc, group, etc).

does hitting enter open up the text line so that you can type words?

Stupid question perhaps, but is your default keyboard language English? Ages back I remember I couldn't use various characters like " , and it took disabling something that was running in Windows to solve it (should be a guide somewhere) if you do a search.

I have this same issue from time to time when a key gets stuck like alt or shift it thinks you are trying to do a different keybind thats not bound so it does nothing. But hitting "/" auto brings up chat bar.
