About a decade ago, I played around with EQemu a bit. A few years ago, knowing I probably would again, I ordered a Titanium boxed set - from ebay I think, don't remember (about to break the shrink wrap to finally install it actually).

Anyway, while preparing to start playing on p99, I was reading all the fun get started notes and various rules, and noticed your notice of not being able to provide info about where to get Titanium.

Just a suggestion - as it appears you and DBG are now playing nicely - official fan-developed version and all - maybe it would be possible to ask them about providing a download of Titanium?

Just a thought.

Cheers,
Gedd

I agree it would be nice, but the fact that this is the best place to play classic EverQuest could backfire if we start taking away some of their all access pass folks.

In the meantime, any new players might wonder how it is that we all own a physical copy of EQ Titanium. They're not as scarce as you'd think.

Daybreak (who recently purchased SOE's EQ) has been playing nicely with the community here. The staff here has probably already thought of distributing their own copies of the client, but I would ASSUME that doing so is illegal, even if you're giving it away for free. Sounds like pirating to me. I think it's better to just keep that respectful distance from them. Daybreak seems to be encouraging the server to keep moving forward, so there's no need to move further into ( or out of depending on how you see it ) the legal gray area we've been operating under for 6 years.

If you're having trouble finding a copy of Titanium, shoot me a PM and I can help you locate one pretty easily.
