I followed the getting started guide and have everything set up. Do I just need to start the game and it will automatically connect to the server or is there another step or two, like I have seen for the other emulators?

Not necessarily, After you log into the EQEmu page, you goto User CP, then login server accounts, and create your login there.

Got it all taken care of and played a little last night. What fun beating up on bats, rats, snakes, skeletons, gnoll pups and fire beetles outside of Qeynos. Fippy even came over and hit me one time while I was resting! Just like the good old days!

Its really a shame that Blackburrow isn't nearly as populated as Crushbone. Blackburrow is a far superior dungeon for newbies, its just set up so much better. Maybe if the Druids and Wizards would get off their ... and start porting for free like their were intended to do! Lol

they should add steps in the guide so that when people are done setting up, they already have ppl like fourthmeal filtered from the forum.

That way the noobs aren't scared off
