They've been around for awhile...just started being more widely used. I know I tagged some of my early posts thinking it would help the search function.

People realize there's a way even for a regular registered user to see who submitted each tag.

Never was anonymous :)

I'm sure now that I've mentioned it, someone will figure out how pretty quickly.

I too followed it back to here lol, I was slighty scared to click it after following some god awful tinyurl links before.

On a side note, leading back to the main forum post, about tags, half of the tags I've seen have been more epic and interesting than the original posters post
