So a long time ago on the live server I had a dream of having my own guild, and since I got another chance to re-live EQ I suppose it would only be right to start my guild.

What is the process of starting a new guild here? I know on live server you needed "x" amount of people on and had to get a GM to be on and so on... all I remember is that it was a major P.I.A .... :)

My idea was to host a predominately pet class based guild. (Magicians, Necromancers, Shamans) with a few melees as pullers and healers for support.

Nothing more aww inspiring than a full group of Mages.... ever heard of a "Meat-grinder"? Its great!!

Since this would be my own little private Utopia I decided to steal something from WoW and name the guild... Petopia.

Now I just need to find those pet users and abusers and get this thing going....

Message me in game id you are interested: Pluvius

"Thanks guys, its all for fun in the end"

Full group of mages? You'd have a slim to none chance of finding 1 mage in a group. They're like the little retarded kid from that baseball movie with Rob Schneider. They never come out of their hiding place and when they do, they scurry into another tiny hole no one else can fit in.

On a real note, sounds interesting, but I'm a bard :/

As a Mage, I enjoy grouping with others. However my skills are so damned rusty I keep screwing up little things. Couple weeks back I grouped with another mage in Najena to help her take down bonecracker and get the key for the traveler's pack guy (I'm only 20). Bonecracker was a piece of cake for the two of us, but I screwed up and got too close for aggro to start the pull when we weren't ready (luckily, like I said, easy) then I killed her going down and aggroing the room prior to the traveler pack guy, realized we missed a key and then killed her again going after the guard captain for the from locked portcullis. I figure i'd best figure out what I'm doing before I go looking for groups and cement a reputation as the worst mage on the server. I suppose being able to play during normal person hours and/or regularly would help immensely just to start.
