MagicDisc works with Windows 7 :-

Once installed, you mount the CD images as it says here :-

You have different 5 ISO's to install, so when the installer asks for the next disc, unmount the current ISO, mount the next one, and continue. I used MagicDisc as well and it all worked fine.

Don't forget to add the extra files mentioned on the setup page. You can get updated textures (which I recommend) by following the instructions here: http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2482.

Download the smaller files making up the EverQuest Trilogy pack, not the single big one, as it doesn't work.

Who said anything about piracy? He could have legitimately had EQ as a download over the years, but needed a clean install to play on Project 1999. You can't buy the Titanium pack new anywhere, so your only recourse is to find it second hand or get the torrent - where you need to know how to mount CD images.

I had trouble with it the first time. Instead of trying to copy paste, type it in. You might have extra characters in there.

I personally own the game 3 times over. I've bought setup discs in three different countries. But also, as has been said, it's all in the Setup Guide linked from the top of the main page :rolleyes:

drop the -w. Just use patchme.

Having the -w stopped it working for me.

This is not piracy at all. I paid for 40 bucks for the EQ client and all the expansion packs a couple of years ago. I am sure a lot of people have. So why would be pay for the psychically discs for an older version of the game that we legally own?

I also find it hilarious that you mention this when there is the bit torrent link in the in the setup guide. Dude, chill the hell out!!!!

In a PM discussion with eisenfaust previously I had mentioned about the "no discussing piracy" policy enforcement here and that because there's no theft and no charging for services, Sony are treating P1999 as more of an amusing folly than a threat to their empire, as long as it stays that way.

Then the numpty Kich had an aneurysm, wet himself and started wailing and in his naive noobness eisenfaust had a panic attack and edited, lest he be banned.

Is my guess.
