Only if it makes mobs start obeying the laws of physics

Why is there no set weekly server(s) reboot?

Deadlyfury

becasue then people would just zerg mobs every week, waiting till the second the servers reset.

No. And actually, there has not been a significant population increase since Velious. We were actually averaging higher back in May.

A bi-weekly server reset would be cool.

There will need to be one done for the next patch coming into game. Unsure on the exact date of it though.

server downtime, including restarts, does not automatically mean a repop happens. Seemingly they flip a flag for whatever targets they want repopped.

Agreed ... They can restart the server without resetting all hard targets.

P.S. there is no purpose to restarting a server every week ... just let the damn thing run.

I agree too, but it would then just become a sock fest because there could be a change that they could flag a repop.

But IMHO it wouldn't be such a bad thing, one guild can't hit all targets at once :)

It would be classic without the modern fights over who's mob is who's

Perhaps we just need instanced content to stop any lawyering of camps, and every guild would be able to raid when or where they want.

What's not to like?? Hmm?

I'm at a point where I would be willing to pay a sub fee for a true classic server that's not overcrowded like this one.

Daybreak could make it happen but I guess they're still too busy chasing WoW/Minecraft etc.

excuse the red reference, the original was too far back in the archive to get to.

Except there is though...

Old server, old memory.
