Connecting to server problem

Hey, i just got wind of this and i am trying to play it... i followed all the steps accordingly and i get to the server select screen and i click on our server but after a little wait it just spits me back to the log in screen.. any ideas what this is please?

Did you install EQ Titanium and use patchme to prevent it from updating?

Also, try setting your desktop resolution to 800x600 until after you can change it in-game.

yea i installed the titanium and fixing resolustion did not work.. guess satelite is not good enough uggg

I'm on 250k in Iraq Xerto. It's satellite and it seems to work fine (a lil high latency at times)

Make sure you aren't downloading/streaming anything.

I have a ton of ridiculous connectivity problems, heres a list!

1) After putting in my password the connecting please wait box pops up and
A.Fails and I have to hit enter escape enter to try my pw again, I usually have to do this 6 or 7 times.
B. It takes me to server select
2)Once I get past accountname/lpw
A.There are no servers listed
B.I hit connect wait 20 seconds and "unkown error" have to restart client
C.Continue to char select.
3)at char select..
A.There are no characters and i have to escape back to server screen
B. Nothing happens and I have to restart client
C. The load bar fills but doesn't go beyond that, have to restart client
4) at any point after I try to enter password screen tints white and I have to restart client.

On top of this I crash 1/3 every zone when server pop is under 500 when pop is over 700 I crash every zone, Can take me anywhere from 2-15 minutes to login including everytime I crash.

what i ended up doing was.. i went to pdanet and downloaded/followed steps there and linked my droid internet to my computer which is like way faster than sattelite and it worked ha... thanks for all the advice
