Creativity Requests

I am offering up my skills(very limited) with creating animated signatures. The conditions being that you need to provide the creativity, and information about what you want it to be, the images you would like to be used have to be easily accessible and easy to crop down. I reserve the right to deny any idea, for what ever reason I feel like :p

I'm doing this because I enjoy making them, for this reason if I feel your idea is too out there, or not very creative, I'm likely to not respond to it.

I don't often post, but I think it'd be excellent if I could have a tag for my druid, Olly.

Here's what I was thinking...

Start out as a fairly far away shot of Olly.

Switch to a shot of a druid ring, letters overlaying the image saying "Olly the Druid" or something to that effect.

Switch back to Olly, but slightly closer to his face.

Pop to another druid ring, letter overlay, "Porting Everywhere"

Closer shot of his face, angling towards the eyes.

A third, different druid ring, letter overlay "Free Cybering Included"

Even closer to Olly's eyes, is it possible for him to be staring intently? Seductively?

A fourth druid ring, letter overlay, "With Every Port"

Extreme closeup of Olly's intently seductive eyes, letter overlay, "Was it good for you?"
Or maybe just the final close up of the eyes changing to a final black background/white letters "Was it good for you?"

Even though I don't post much, I think if that got made I would use it to sign emails and such to people that don't even know anything about EQ. It'd be worth it.

You could ask those around if they'd donate a few $ to Project 99 as a thank you? I'm aware its free to play on the server but for the fun I'm having at the moment I'd love to be sure that the costs of keeping it up are well and truly covered :)

Keep up the excellent work, and offtopic but a quick thank you to the players I've met so far - truly old school, and the vast majority are showcasing the harmony the game brings with it :)

I really want to use those musical note target rings, but I can't get them to work. I download, unzip, and manually replace the old ones in my ui folder but I still get the old plain target rings. Any ideas?

They won't take immediate effect. You if you load up the UI you used them in while you were logged in you will need to camp and log back in, let me know if that doesn't work for you.

Ok, first off, are you using Titanium, or SoF client? Not sure if there would be a difference, but I make and test my stuff for Titanium.

Second are you getting .xml errors or any other kind of errors when you load the UI(will show up in your text box)?

Third make sure you are creating a new folder in UI directory and placing the files in there, I would not recommend overwriting the default UI. Once you make this folder you should see it show up in your load UI box.

If you are still having problems give me a quick rundown on how you are installing and loading your UI and I'll see if I can troubleshoot it for you.

I'm using Titanium and I get no errors. I have been trying to overwrite the files in the default ui folder, I'll try a completely new folder when I get home tonight however I don't think that is actually going to help.

No, it isn't a joke. Been looking for ya in game when I get the chance to log on, but no dice (apparently you've only been in-game to test UI stuff).

I've been stuck away from my computer and EQ for about a week or so. I'll get to the screenshots next time I am in front of the comp. This might not be until the 14th, but I'm not in any kind of rush if you aren't.

Anything special about the screenshots you might want from me, or can I just send you standard EQ screenies to work with?

Hmmm... Not sure what could be the problem then, the rings should take effect the next time you zone or load EQ after selecting the UI. Anyone else having any problems using the rings? When I get more time either during my lunch or after work I will download them from EQUI and make sure the file I uploaded isn't the problem.

Hey, I managed to get back to my comp and I got some pics of Druid rings like we had discussed. My problem boils down to the shots of Olly. I have been fiddling with the camera angles and I haven't been able to get one that allows me to get a decent zoom-in style shot (especially towards his eyes).

Is it possible for us to hook up in game for you to take some ever-closer shots of Olly for the banner? If not I might be able to find someone else, but it'll take awhile longer.

Tried this but it still didn't work. What I did was copy the default ui into a new folder, then overwrote the code portion of my TargetIndicator.ini file with the code provided, and overwrote the target rings .tga files with the previous one you posted and it still no worky. Thanks for trying to help though, I would really love that target indicator if I can get it working. :)
