erudite-only paladin gear

On a side note, Erudites (while having rather bad starting stats) get the most badass paladin gear in classic.

what gear are they talking about? i can't remember any paladin gear that was exclusive to erudites.

So to make people play ERU's, they gave them awesome armor? Did it work in Live and P99?

the only reason Verant made erudites was because they knew if they didn't kanye west would publicly announce they hated black people.

even with the shield, their stats as paladins are still far inferior to other races, dwarves especially. not to mention soon as you had a soulfire then FA the shield would be banked. but sometimes its fun to be the odd man out and play a far less common class/race combo. i think erudite clerics are pretty sick with their quest line gear.

The imbued steelsilk cultural armors are eru clr/pal only, so not eru pal only, but quite unique....although they require terrorantula silk, and I have no idea how you will get enough of that to make a suit once velious comes out. If you make a suit you may well be the only one with that stuff

I have not even seen a terroantula in SRO..... They even spawn there?

Yeah it does, but it's a rare spawn and since it spawns right near AC, which is perma-camped it's almost always killed immediately and then rots the few times it does spawn.

Combine that w/the fact of how many 100s of Terronatula silks you'd need to craft a full set... Keep in mind the Steelsilk stuff trivials at like 200+... You're gonna have a lot of fizzles and wasted mats before even getting close to being able to make a full set. Then your market is only Erudite Paladins and Clerics (enough of them on the server to count on one hand).

TL;DR There's a reason no one crafts Steelsilk.
