On the day the original Kunark was released I simply went exploring and had a blast seeing new things.

There were so many expansions and it was a long time ago but I think it was on my 1st Kunark exploration that I stumbled across a dorf tavern where a hilarious NPC conversation was taking place.

I overheard a dorf telling eveyone in the bar that the only way to true enlightenment was thru sobriety, to which everyone in the bar yelled " BLASPHEMY!" "GET HIM!".

The dorf says "uh oh" and jumped thru the window breaking the glass and ran up the street with a angry mob chasing him.

Too funny.

Once my ass has been suffieciently quaded off I will hunt a few good drops with my new high level spells. Then I will do some big ole bubbly bong hits like when I first played EQ and start my lizzard Monk with the 3 bags of gear I have waiting for him.

I have a set leveling group that is pretty hardcore, so my first thing may be to do our group spell run, being that I'm a druid. We have a wizard with us (dark elf) to get any evil spells we may need, but that will probably be my first thing done.

Oh man, I loved that whole area - FV etc. I only started EQ during Velious so wasn't aware those zones were Kunark. Actually, most of what I loved about EQ is in Kunark it seems. Can't wait for the release.

Cant wait for OS, most of my good memories are dragging corpses, while tabbing every mob to make sure they cant see through my stealth on my rogue back in the day.
