View Full Version : PoG Faction

A while ago, I raided PoG with a guild and I didn't know anything about the faction hits. It was basically the first raid I've ever done. Since I'm a high elf cleric, once I found out I was messing up my faction, I asked if I should be there and I was told since I was just healing I shouldn't receive faction hits. Well long story short, my faction is all jacked up now and I'm wondering if I can fix it.

The reason I'm asking is because I'm one idol away from http://wiki.project1999.com/Symbol_of_Tunarian_Worship but since I'm kos in PoG I was wondering if this is even possible for me to do anymore.

sounds like your leadership screwed you. prob should do some research prior to following blindly

looks like all of the drops you need have nothing to do with going to POG until turn in... way to research

Yeah I know I should've done more research before I went but since I was getting to experience something new, I didn't pay full attention to everything. I was just excited to see a zone I never got to see on live and a chance to get some loot.

Oh well lesson learned! I've joined a new guild so I shouldn't have to worry about that anymore.

Was either Casual Scum or TMO, leaning towards TMO considering they spent like 4 days a week there including like 10 hour Saturdays/Sundays in there for the first 2 months of velious

Omg just wait till that new patch with the high elf gear pog only. Reroll imo.

I think we had one cleric spend a night in PoG with CS. Not sure I remember who it is though.

I definitely don't do a race check on people before we zone in.

I won't name the guild because I could've prevented it by just doing a little research. The guild seemed to have some quality members in it but it just wasn't what I was looking for in a guild.

I will say that I tried out raiding with Casual Scum last night and joined their guild.

Sounds like you made the right choice considering this is what the TMO mouthpiece has to reply to this thread:

Yikes play better next time

Love most of the CS bros though.

high elves are fags in plate anyway, a reroll and a more careful race choice will be good for you :o

I suggest you reroll. I'll PL you to 40 and you can join my sk for xp grps. Will go to 60. I'll pass on plate cycle drops so you can gear up. You will be caught up in no time

this, plus the guy said himself that he wasn't paying attention and it was his first raid.
but whoever told you that you wouldn't take faction hits was correct, you had to have tagged the mobs to take faction hits, which healing doesn't do.

sucks tho bro :(

This is incorrect. As far as I know Kael is the only zone where this is true.

not true, if you are tagged in a raid, or even in the range of mob I think its 1,000 in game units you can take faction hits

velious

You don't take faction hits healing in indoor zones in Velious. Might be a odd zone in there that you do but it's not Kael or ToV.

I remember seeing clerics L1 nuke in Kael, so definitely need to do something offense related there. Weird though, I think for CB or other old vanilla content you get a hit for the slightest thing including healing.

Hope the OP rolled a dark elf this time around.
