they aren't, bs mods for tunare dagger and vulak dagger weren't added until luclin

the caster offhand had a shitty right click DOT instead of FT5, which was also added in luclin

Vulak Dagger doesn't have a listed BS mod. However, at 12 damage it still provides a max backstab, but the devs looked into it and can't see why based on the weapon database entry.

I checked with nilbog on that a while back and he couldn't see anything on the weapon in the database that would cause that.


As for Essence of Nature, see the following pre-luclin discussion of it having FT5. If you have evidence of it being a dot, please bug report it.

I'd assume that they have just added the loot which existed for the version of Tunare that was implemented for P99.
