That's part of the April 2001 patch. Which is the next era patch we get.

We got the March 2001 patch here - http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=217007 (November 1, 2015)

So any day now we can expect the April patch.

Male High Elf easily the worst, Female it's a tough choice because honestly a lot of them look dumb, feels like they didn't put a ton of time into the Female versions.

You shouldn't be able to customize it, shouldn't have a graphic at all. I did a search for Custom White Dragon Helm, which is what it would be called if you could customize it, and nothing shows up.

I'm pretty sure that dude was just talking out of his ass, can't find any other mention of it being customizable.

Should just be Cowl of Mortality, Crown of the Kromzek Kings, Frostreaver's Velium crown, and plate quest helms.

We all know the helm models are in, its just a matter of having the NPCs/quests/whatever in the game that allows us normal players to convert our helms to their custom versions.

A lot of the velious armor graphics suffer that problem: They're too "artsy." That being said, helms in general tend to look dumb. It's hard to make a full helm covering a human head that doesn't look ridiculous. Medieval great helms and bascinets look stupid. Form follows function.

To answer the original post, we're in essence already overdue for these helms to be added in-game, so we'll get them whenever the powers that be get around to doing the next era patch.

The only ones that make me cringe are the half-elf banana helm and wood elf space ship hat. The female iksar one is pretty weird too.

Overall though, I think they did a good job designing these helmets.
