Karnor's Castle Rots

Hi guys,

I keep hearing and reading about no drop/lore gear that rots in Karnors's Castle because nobody needs it. Would it be worth my while for a level 9 Troll Shaman to work my way down there and pick up some of this gear? Do people look down upon this or are they willing to let lowbies reap the rewards for their work? Does any of the lore items rot, or is it mostly the no drop stuff that's mainly for an Iksar Shaman?

Most people who have no issue with letting you loot the rots and if you let them know you were looking they might even keep and eye out for you to let you know when and where the rots are.

The problem you are going to have is surviving the run to various camps in KC where the items are rotting. Everything is going to agro you from super far away due to your low level and kill you in 1 second or less.

It would probably be best to wait until you are in your late 20's or early 30's to try this and get some buffs beforehand.

Usually if there's somebody at the entrance they'll invis ya, but be mindful that there are both normal and undead mobs to contend with.

Yeah, figured it's harder on my shaman since I don't get invis until 29, but I do have a 17 druid that already has invis. Is there any mobs that will see through invis there? I'm really only interested in the wis/mana items that are lore, but if the lore items don't rot much, it might not be worth my time waiting around for them.

Well, the undead mobs will see through normal invis. So you'll want to get double invis from folks at the entrance if you can...or YOLO to the camp...or get the people at the camp to clear the way for you.

Here's all the Jarsath armor (http://wiki.project1999.com/Jarsath_Scale_Armor) that drops in KC. Unfortunately, Trolls can't use any of it.

However, you might be able to score a Supple Scale Armband (http://wiki.project1999.com/Supple_Scale_Armband) and Greyish Bone Chips (for your future Cannibalize II quest (http://wiki.project1999.com/Cannibalize_II_%28Evil%29)).

I took my level 12 barb shammy there and people were most helpful with invis and escorts and about 7 rezzes :p
Was the best move I made... then I rolled an ogre instead and wont go there becaue I cant equip any of the stuff :(
