Why is it that male athletes aren't allowed to use steroids under the pretense of them being "performance enhancing"? Not just sports people, but MMA, power lifters, bodybuilders, chess masters, and olympians.


Why aren't women in beauty pageants banned for wearing makeup, taking diet pills, and having plastic surgery? Are these not more performance enhancing? Using steroids doesn't make you big. Using steroids allows you to put on more muscle than you naturally could but only if you work out more.

This is a glaring sexist double standard that we as a society of civilized individuals need to address.

The American Medical Association, the Food Drug Administration, and the Drug Enforcement Agency all testified before Congress that scheduling testosterone itself made very very little sense from an abuse perspective as the drugs weren't scientifically proven to have any dangerous potential. The only time steroids are detrimental to health is when you're doing way too much. I personally wouldn't do steroids, but i don't have a problem with people using them if they want to. Some people just don't have good genetics and can't put on muscle well.

You could die at 18 from a staph infection contracted during a breast implant surgery easier than you could die at 50 from a reasonable amount of steroid use.

Men and woman today are both empowered and isolated from each other more than ever. This also helps explain high divorce rate, single mothers and declining birth rate.

Men and woman are losing their way. They're blurring. This isn't the fault of either gender. It's the fault of technology and an increasingly developed world. We're more capable as individuals than we've ever been. I predict there won't be any true men or woman in the future but unisex couples with many different sexualities. They'll still have children.
