Okay, I tried searching for this one but wasn't able to come up with what I wanted. If I missed it out there in the plethora of threads my apologies.
What is the group level range calculation? The only thing I can find online seems wrong. If someone could please correct me I would appreciate it!
Level/2 + 1 + level = Range
Which would mean a 20 could effectively group with a level 31 and get experience.
20/2 (10) +1 (11) + level (20) = Range (31)

The lazy way is 1.5* your level will yield exp.
20 x 1.5 = 30.
30 is good, 31 is not
21 x 1.5 = 31.5.
31 is good. 32 *may* be, but I wouldn't guarantee it.

Lowest Level * 1.5 (Round down)
Highest Level * 0.667 (Round up)
Generic Examples
Level 20 can group up to a 30 (20 * 1.5 = 30)
Level 30 can group down to a 20 (30 * 0.667 = 20)
Rounding Examples
Level 33 can group up to a 49 (33 * 1.5 = 49.5)
Level 50 can group down to a 34 (50 * 0.67 = 33.34)

This isn't quite right. The minimum for a 50 is 35.

33 * 1.5 = 49.5 -> can group with a 49
34 * 1.5 = 51
A 34 can group with a 50, so a 50 can group with a 34.

Is there also a minimum level where this starts? At level 3 I grouped with a level 7 and got experience. If I remember correctly anything below level 10 is just a 5 level spread, so a level 1 can group with a 6 2, with 7 3 with 8, etc up to 10 where it starts. Is this confirmed?
