Stay away from the boards and red server and you will avoid all toxicity.

One of the oddest things about this game is how you can play it for years and not notice any complaints until you come to the forums.

The raid scene is extremely toxic. If sitting around waiting for 10 monks to train half a zone around so you and 4 other guilds can compete for FTE while frapsing and petition-questing everything is fun to you, you might need to seek some help. You could just come to Phinny and kill shit all night every night and almost never deal with shitheads. Hell, even the guild chat is more pleasant here. Some guy tried calling out someone mid raid the other night and was promptly told to stfu, send a tell to an officer if there is a problem, dont start shit in mumble. It's simply a more pleasant environment in which to play. Plus we will get POP :)

The high end raid scene is, sure. At least that's what I hear.

That's another weird thing I've noticed about this server. You can raid all day but if you are not hitting top end targets you are not on the "raid scene", at least according to forums.

I think that just points out the vast unbalance between those who post in the forums vs. the actual population.

Hiya Mals! Looks like you and I made our exits at the same time! The project is a gem and both servers are fantastic. I played on blue for years before rolling red late last year and I've been loving as much as I loved blue when I first rolled blue. I suggest you give it a try. While you cannot box on either server, you are permitted to play on both at once, so you can checking out while LFG or waiting for boat on blue ^^ Just /IOC for an invite to Thunderdome and they'll get you setup w/ a newby weapon and some starting cash along with pals to level with. Welcome!
