Hello all. I would like to reintroduce myself. I first made my account on Project1999 back in 2012 while I was deployed in Afghanistan in hopes of joining everybody online. Sadly that did not happen. Its been a very long time but I am finally in the process of downloading EQ Titanium right now.
I originally played Everquest from launch until roughly mid/end of 2004. It is still to this day my most cherished online gaming experience and I am very much looking forward to joining you all online and revisiting Norrath again!
I am still serving in the U.S. Military and I am currently stationed in Germany. My play time might be a little off compared to some of you but I will see you all in-game!

Looking for some assistance. I downloaded my copy of EQ Titanium. In the download folder it has 5 separate CD folders. In CD 1 it has the setup folder. I click on it, it starts the download, then asks for CD2. I browse, find CD2, click on it, and it says there is nothing there. All the other folders are pretty much empty. Anybody have any idea what I need to do from here please?
Legitimate digital copies of Titanium should have ISO disc images enclosed in the folders (CD1-CD5). There are programs out there that will let you mount disc images like they're actual CDs in your CD drive.
If you browse the folders regularly and find they're completely empty, you may need to keep looking for another copy of Titanium.

Starts the download? You mean starts installing, right? An install exe that starts trying to download would raise concern in this case. But yes, for titanium it should come in ISO format (or equivalent), and you would use an ISO mounting app, which are out there for free. I'd suggest googling something like "sourceforge ISO mounter" (w/o quotes).

Welcome back Kwitchercryn! There's a good deal of Euro players on this server and I can say from experience that there are groups going at all hours.

Good choice! The community expectation for bards is that they swarm kite. That works great when you have limited time during play sessions. However, do not bypass the adventures of leveling in XP groups. Bards IMO are one of the most amazing group classes in EQ, and the game play is far more rewarding than running in circles.

Thanks Issar, I am looking forward to learning how to play a Bard. My very first toon in EQ back in 1999 was a Wood Elf Druid named Darcoon on Rallos Zek. I moved on to a Halfling Rogue on Bertox for the rest of my time on Everquest. I am "kinda" lost on this toon but I enjoy ever last learning experience, just like I did back in the classic EQ days.

I made a bard recently, but wound up recycling the name, rerolled it to a DEF-SHD. I agree on grouping, but when you log in and there are 30 in the zone (e.g Kelethin) and 12-15 of them are bards... and another bard spawns, and another bard spawns, another bard spawns at POD. Hey, it's going to spawn you too, another bard spawns at POD.
But if you are rolling it to get groups, you probably still can, as most I think do it just because of the strafing bug so they can solo fast and easy. Of course when you're not a bard and trying to do your thing, it gets really frustrating when the bards have taken everything in the zone, or area. Then you gotta chase them around peeling off mobs or just log.
