looking for some alts around level 5-6 for warrens/befallen

I have a level 5 paladin, decent gear. I am looking to hunt in either befallen and/or the warrens this week during the evenings. Never did befallen on p99 and have never even been in warrens at all. I know we're a little low but we'll get where we need to be quickly. If anyone is interested post here for send me a PM. No gear requirements just be close to my level and looking to explore.

You should be at least level 8 before trying Befallen, and bring a group. Befallen is no place to solo and tricky at best for a duo.

I died twice reaching befallen, but once I got in there I dont recall dying at all. Had a few close calls but thats classic. I am now level 9. The exp in there is incredible. It was only possible because I have decent weapons/haste item. I was never able to get a key to the first door.

I'm now sitting in front of the warrens. 9 pal / 9 ench going in the warrens tonight or tomorrow at earliest convenience.

I always go to befallen at level 5 and solo. The move in first floor are easy and it doesn't get that tricky until you hit at least second floor where you'll be level 8 or 9

I'm a big fan of going into dungeons as soon as possible to fight the entrance trash. Exp is usually good, zone isnt far away, can sow outside, and in some places (upper guk in particular) players will come through who can rez you for pp. I went into befallen and was killing plague rats and weak skeletons right at the zone and was getting double the exp I'd be getting for similar rats and skeles outside.

Trip report: warrens owns, cant believe people dont exp there, mobs for days and they respawn quick. Seem to have low hp. Only have to travel through newb zones from rings/spires to reach it.

It's risky soloing. We did pretty well as a duo, but a healer would have been nice. Then we could have murdered everything in the top levels. :)

I had an adventure tonight that is tangentially related to this thread.

So there I was thinking I'd go to the Warrens on my druid to see if I could give a nice robe to my enchanter when I had a great brain fart moment coming out of Tox and ran right off the edge of the cliff. Yeah, that's right. I fell into The Hole.

Of course I died. 20k fall damage. Don't fall in The Hole, you guys. There is a reason you write it The Hole instead of the hole. It is a big hole and deserves the capital letters.

Anyway I petitioned sadly to get the corpse back because I didn't know anyone who could help me reach the bottom of The Hole (plus I had no idea if Master Yael was up because insta-death). Somehow or other (aka it's all Tupakk's fault) I got swept up into a group trying to reach the Ghost of Kindle while wearing nothing but a pair of spare pants and a frost giant beard, and it took everyone an hour to remember that they had a necro with them as they were fighting down, so my body eventually got summoned and rezzed (yay Inadequate and Roory) and we got the Ghost of Kindle too and then I ported everyone in my group out, the end. Grats Hadiar on the epic piece! :)

Sorry whoever is doing the petition queue by the way, my problem is fixed. Well, sort of. The stupidity is incurable, I'm afraid, but at least I'm incurably stupid while sporting the latest in fashionquest. Now it's 1:30am and I am going to bed.

I had typed out "adventure and woe" but it's not bad if you don't let it beat you and anytime you can tell a good story you've likely had a good time.

FYI for future reference, lvl 1 brell halfling rogue is non kos to alot of stuff in the hole and can sneak/hide in for self CR's (pretty sure thats the race/religion combo)


Be sure to kill the Muglwump before you leave warrens. Mini raid mob thats a pretty fun fight (be lvl 20ish+)

I think I'll take Kahnn over to Befallen with that fresh ptog and see if I can't get him to 14. Having "Healing" vs "Light Healing" will make quite a bit of difference. All I did was chain heal and type "oom" for 3+ hours. With level 14 healing I should have time for some sarcastic commentary while chain healing. :p

I would love to try najena some, have not been there on this server. I remember that being more like a 20-30 dungeon but its been a long time.

My main is a druid so if you want to join us in the warrens and check it out I can escort you and then take you back to lavastorm/wc

The entrance of najena is 15ish-20ish, but once you start trying to get the keys to go in deeper, the difficulty level ratchets up really fast.

It's a fun place though. I was going to recommend it after 20!
